Orchard Care

Last Sunday, we spread lime in the orchard; approximately 2 tons on the acre of apples. (This translates into 15 lbs/tree.) Nitrogen will be given to the trees that need it. Lime sulfur and oil were also applied for the dormant spray.

Our trees are starting to push their buds; before we know it they will be in bloom.
